Streacom has officially introduced the BC1; a lightweight and tool-less Open Benchtable designed for portability and easy of use. Although not their usual type of product, the premium aesthetics and quality design Streacom is known for is unmistakably present in this product too. Co-developed with HWBOT and Overclocking-TV, it offers a unique design and full component integration on a level not seen before.
Weighing only 1.82kg, and being 8mm thin aluminium, it is portable and highly suited to the PC enthusiast or any professional who need to put together a full open PC while in the field or on the road. The main body integrates the legs, mounting brackets, standoffs and thumbscrews, not requiring any tools, making it all very convenient.
Compatibility is not forgotten either, as the BC1 benchtable supports all form factor motherboards, most PSU form factors, up to 4 VGA cards, and multiple mounting brackets for system fans and radiators. It also supports up to 2 drives (2.5″ or 3.5″), and between 80mm to 240mm cooling fans.
Furthermore, the Open Benchtable project is open to third party developers for making additional accessories, allowing further future modifications and design improvement to be made. Streacom’s BC1 is definitely an impressive piece of hardware.
